I'm sure this question has been already asked before but i'm too lazy to use the search function.

In your opinion, which beach did you like the best??

(And how much did it cost to get in?)

I'll second crooks and clark street ! my two favorites.
I have a suffolk county green key which gets me into cupsogue (i think it's another 5 bucks each time i go for parking). Not sure if cupsogue is open for non-suffolk residents in summer, or if the fee is excessive for non-residents. Does anyone out there know ?

Hither Hills State Park out at Montauk has a great beach and is worth the drive. You can also park for free at east end of village (essex st, etna ave) and walk to the ocean -
Of course getting out there in the summer is often painful.. but a good day in Montauk can be heaven ...

hahahaha the nude beach is gross! It's not even attractive people- just a bunch of old fat people. :::shudder:::

I personally love Pt. Lookout. I grew up going there and it never fails to disappoint. $5.50 i think for TOH residents. That's bupkiss compared to Long Beach, Jones or Robert Moses. Then again, sand is sand and water is water right?

Jones beach is the NASTIEST DIRTIEST on the island! Does anyone pick up their trash these days?

What makes Cupsogue better than Robert Moses or any other Beach?

Is the water/sand different? Is it cheaper to get into?
