was about to say Plainview/OB also. There's that Korean market they were mentioning, and I ran across another smaller one down Woodbury Rd. by the Hicksville train tracks. The one we used to frequent down near Cantiague Park apparently closed.
You can find a large ranch or small colonial for that price. Schools are good, and you're 45 minutes away from Penn Station / NYC.
Oh man that sucks. Not suprised though, that whole W.John Street area is going downhill. It will probably become a Mexican supermarket.
Hicksville is a nice area, good commute, growing Asain population. H&Y for east asian (Korean) and Patel Bros. for west asian. Both good supermarkets. Reminds me, gotta make some pho again soon.
