i have verizon fios, and there is no local news, i miss NY1 from queens. does cablevisions news 12 show 24 hours?

You need to get Weather Bug on your computer!! Their radar maps are excellent and current!! weatherbug.com, I think!!

Fios does have local news...channel 1...it's like a watered down News12. It's getting better though.

channel 1 always have some dumb programming, never news, maybe a traffic cam at best

We are flooded out here (5 Towns area, SW Nassau). My car had no problem getting through but many people turned around.

The subway is being affected due to flooding. The D is running on the Q line, and there is no R service in Brooklyn. The side streets in the boroughs are getting flooded.

Nothing like that storm in 2007 that came out of nowhere and shut ALL transit service. Anyone remember that one?
