Direct TV. $65 2hd dvr's and 1 hd non dvr box. Verizon DSL$25(before you say anything I am am riding fiber lines so getting 3mb. I remember when my company paid 12g per month for 3mb t1) and I have a ooma device with 2 lines that i pay nothing for because I paid $199 two years ago
I pay 82.65 (69.99 + taxes) for FIOS triple play. Includes 3 HD boxes and 1 Multi-room DVR. My cable bill went from about $115 to $150 after their triple play ended, I got them to drop it to about $125 so I stayed a bit longer. Now they send me deals for a 69.99 triple play same as FIOS. You can just keep switching back and forth if they won't drop their price at the end of the triple play.
We are lucky, this is one of the few things that is much cheaper in LI then in most of the country thanks to competition!!

Unfortunately, due to CV's exclusivity contracts with certain areas, we do not have this competition you speak of. An example is Long Beach. CV or nothing.
I pay $116/mo for 2 non HD boxes and 1 lifetime DVR, phone, and internet. No pay channels. Have it since April and would not switch back to CV for half the cost.
