Not sure but think some of Levittown/North Wantagh (especially near Seaman's Neck Rd and East Broadway schools) are actually zoned for Island Trees. Maybe a bargain since the taxes are quite a bit lower. We have friends 2 blocks from East Broadway (levittown) who are actually zoned for Island Trees and their kids go to Stokes Elem.

The area you're talking about, from the site provided by PatriciaDoGo. Levittown UFSD in the bottom left, Island Trees in the middle, and Plainedge on the right side.

I live in that little section that you are referring to in the "E section" off of Wantagh Ave. I am in Levittown, but I am one block out of North Wantagh and not far from the Plainedge border and North Massapequa. I am zoned for Island Trees school district and the houses across the street from me are zoned for Macarthur. I really like the area a lot. The taxes are lower than N. Wantagh. Definitely an area to consider.
