I got the same hearing, almost exactly. What do you mean with the 5 years?
The CO says the variance is good for 5 years. It surprised the heck out of me. I doubt they will do anything about it. I think if anything they can use it as an excuse to snoop around again to see if I change anything. I was too burnt out from dealing with them to argue. Took my CO and moved on.
Yeah, you're a winner. I see all the grateful responses you get to your LSD fantasy posts on how the system works. Good luck with that judge. I'm sure he's quaking in his robe.
Dude, I don't know who you think I am or why. you really sound like you need some help.
p.s. I beleive you should stay with commenting on something you actually have some knowledge of. Stick to garage sales and the line at Dairy Queen.
Wow, you figured out the search feature and used it so cleverly. "Dude" everyone knows who you are on here. Same guy from the old code inspector youtube video. Anyone can go back to page 2 of this thread when your name was "walkthewalk" (you called me "Dude" then too, lol). No one takes your rants seriously or even responds anymore. You offer nothing on the topic of permits, CO's, inspectors except nonsense. Just read back over this thread. It speaks for itself. Post all you like though. It's a free country. I'm done with it.
Hello had a building inspector show up at my home , he said they had a complaint I had a pool and a shed. I do not have either one . So he instantly change gears and said my six foot fence needed a variance . I also have a temp carport made of vinyl with a framework of metal tubes. . My question is I would like to find out who made the complaint is the town required to supply me with the information . Does the forth amendment apply here. Can I use the "Freedom of information law" thanks

It's been my experience that they will not give you a name. Sometimes they may say "it was a neighbor", etc.
Had that happen recently with one of my listings--a short sale; they complained about certain things deemed illegal per code (it was not represented in the listing). I was told that it was a neighbor who came to an Open House and they were not permitted to reveal names. Since only one neighbor stopped by, I was able to identify the person; otherwise it would have been impossible.
"guilty". Haha. As if the town has any right to regulate sheds. Gimmie a break. "you're guilty of breaking our nonsense law."
