Rangers fans converge on skating center in Port Washington

Seems a bit strange for a Long Island facility to celebrate the Rangers, not the Islanders?

The Isles already commandeered Iceworks in Syosset. It's surprising they don't do more events though. Nice facility. The nicest though is in Bethpage, but that's a bit of a hike for city fans of the Rangers. Port Washington being all the way north is not much better though.

I thought the Islanders moved. They still play in the NHL?

not strange at all. The Rangers have lots of fans throughout the tri-state area.
