I know...."if money is no object" to me means Mega Millions type money....honestly, if you had that much money you'd move to RVC and live where a BIG piece of property is 100x200???

Agreed, If I had unlimited cash I wouldnt even think of RVC compared to Old Brookville, Muttontown, Sands Point etc., I mean its a nice area and all, but dosent even begin to compare to the gold cost IMO. Heck it wouldnt even be on my short list!

No. It's a small incorporated village on Shelter Island. Mostly summer compounds. I already live near Lloyd Harbor.

Good drinking town.

Other than that I don't get it if money were no object.

Not everyone wants big. I'd pick RVC too bc it's not isolated from like everything... It's conveniently located, it's got an awesome downtown and nightlife. RVC has some really nice Tudor homes. I'm a south shore girl... So yup RVC is my pick.

Exactly. Not everyone would go super mega mansion if they had all the money in the world to burn.

I get that. That's why Lloyd Neck never really appealed to me. I worked with a girl who lived out there - God forbid you forget something at the grocery store.

Still, there are places that aren't so far from the civilization that will give you privacy from every one who needs to "borrow some money!" I'm thinking Kings Point or Sands Point.
