sadly, the fishery grill in glen head closed due to the owner battling guillaine-barre syndrome (which my mother has been suffering with since 2010, not pretty ailment). I enjoyed the place so here's wishing him well.

I thought you were referring to the East Rockaway Fishery- that place is a legend. I would have had a heart attack, lol. Are they affiliated with eachother at all? Never been to the Glen Head one.

Same owners. The one in E-rock isn't doing so well either but there are no plans to close it as of now.

was pretty good food and close by and had a nice bar outdoors in the summer

ER Fishery is a very good summer bar but, the food is mediocre.

As far as I know both Fishery's are not closed. They just had a fundraiser for Charlie last weekend. He is a partner not the sole owner.

What happened to Charlie? My BiL has been friends with him since the days he was at Max's in RVC.

he got guillane barre syndrome. my mom got it two years ago and still cannot walk.
