I'm very sensitive to noise so I prefer not to rent in an apt in house. I know that limits my options. I'd rather pay mortgage than pay arch stone prices. Lol. Has anyone heard of Rich lee gardens in Mineola?

Yes, I have heard of them. Honestly I don't know much but I have never heard anything bad about the complex.
Archstone is sorely overpriced. They're trying to match Manhattan rents with Long Island living. Strange mix
For a newer building with those amenities it's NOT Manhattan rent prices, believe it or not! Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn are truly out of this world.
