yea, a lot......where do you wnat to live. Eastern suffolk, middle suffolk, western suffolk..........Nassau?

Any you can get many houses over 1800+ sqft too........ but all depends where you are looking to live.

If you are willing to live in Suffolk County:

Miller Place/Sound Beach, Mount Sinai, Rocky Point, Shoreham/Wading River, Center Moriches, Yaphank/Ridge/Middle Island (Longwood), Manor Park/Manorviile (ESM), East/South Setauket/Stony Brook(WM) and Ronkonkoma/Holbrook/Holtsville/Farmingville (Sachem).

good area sure... good house in a good school district is harder to find. Do you care about schools?

You can get some very well-kept, updated townhouses well over 1,000 sq ft. for that price all over.

Lindenhurst is a great area. Has many houses under $400,000. ITs not top schools but not bottom schools either.
