Their backyard is optimal for having a catch. There are trees on the back perimeter to give them shade. The house has an attached garage so their is nothing in their way. IT COULDN'T BE BETTER!!!!!!!

What gives? What is the point of a backyard if you don't use it!!!
I like how you say "having a catch" instead of playing catch. It makes it sound so classy.

How anyone would eat a hotdog is beyond me.

Let me know if you find this answer to this one.

You people are way too high-strung. Always looking for a confrontation.

I'm just curious why people do this. I don't care. I'm just curious. It doesn't bother me at all. I love my neighbors.

You people need to relax.

Why ask any question then? Maybe other people so this too. I'm just curious. I don't think it is a social thing. The husband is not "that" social.

No, it DOES bother you otherwise why create the thread with words stressed and then you even said you're not sociable?

I play catch with my son on the side of the house. Not in the front and not in the back. We're partially sociable.

Was this a response to the OP or the hot dog conundrum?

Maybe because they don't have Zoysia grass.

Kidding...it's because people usually have "stuff" in their backyard. Patio/patio set, deck, lawn furniture, pool, bbq, shed...plus, when it comes to having a catch, playing in the front is more open, and you don't have to worry about losing the ball or frisbee over the neighbors fence.
