As I am getting ready for work I can't help but be excited for this day. It's going to be a beautiful one. Long Island in August; What could be better? I'm thinking that I might head out east this weekend to pick some blueberries. Maybe I'll go to the beach the next day. Or I'll walk through one of our beautiful state parks. Or I'll watch the surfers in Long Beach. Or I'll go clamming on the north fork. Or go for a wine tasting. Or I'll I just sit outside in this beautiful weather and read a book. I love waking up on Long Island!
Most people are worrying how they are going to pay their taxes and survive.
I agree that taxes can be a burden, but everything I listed with the exception of the blueberries is free. Of course, you have to drive to these places. I worry about bills as well, but if you worry and pay your taxes you might as well enjoy what you're paying for.

That's very nice. Some can't afford to pay their taxes. They have to live with that everyday and are not able to enjoy the free blueberries.
