Just read in Newsday they PSEGLI electric boards has approved raising our electric bills by almost 4% starting next March 2016. Isn't that just great!

My opinion, we've got bigger fish to fry on LI than < $10/mo.

Meanwhile their executive pay can't be questioned or examined. This **** is flat out illegal. A lot of things need to change here.

Wasn't this news 4-5 weeks ago? Of course prices are going up. At least PSEG is actually doing something. Why do we still have LIPA? They do and did nothing except drive up debt and let infrastructure crumble and still raised rates.

Every PSEG customer is responsible for around $5K in LIPA debt. That is the break out of the cost of old legcy LIPA/LILCO debt.

If every electric user would just write a small one-time check for to PSEG.LIPA to pay off all the Legacy debt our bills would fall a lot.
