My internet security is presently showing Urban Dictionary to be "Moderate Risk" but if you have secure firewall search the top definition for City-Data (should be your first return). The passages of a fictitious thread used in the definition are hilarious!

Unless he has created a whole new life for himself (or moved from the Garden of Eden) I don't believe this is Crooks. Just this November the linked poster mentioned proposing to his GF, and he posted about Waldbaums in Lindenhurst in the food dessert thread. Why that Waldbaums as opposed to the one in RP?

That's too funny! I never thought of it that way! At the time, board moderation became completely out of control. Some new mod with an ax to grind was tossing the regulars into time out, giving us infractions, total BS. The banter we currently have/enjoy with ex pats and current LIers, random bizarre posters, etc, we couldn't engage in while the new sheriff was in town.

There was a period where a few trolls with multiple names just enraged regulars so a side bar group started to vent and roll eyes. It was less interesting than the center ring show though. Ultimately many got fed up with the harassment and either bailed out or changed names to fight back and eventually the mods 86'd many of them. Not that I know anything about it, I'm new.

I don't believe the poster that was indicated in the link is SandyJet. Multiple times on various threads he mentions 3 kids and a wife.
