Looking to start taking the train to Penn Station from Stewart Manor or New Hyde Park in the mornings. What are the possibilities of finding 2 seats together from either of these stations? Would most likely leave NHP at either 752 or 838, or leave SM at 814.

You have a better shot shooting for a 5AM train. Those trains usually leave the station around 8AM anyway...

I would suggest that the correct responses above nothing to do with finding 2 seats together, you are lucky if you can find a single seat at that hour.

Zero.
It's so sad people spend hundreds of dollars per month & can't even get a seat. Never mind the service delays.
I don't miss those days. I wouldn't go back if I they doubled my salary. I feel for those who have no choice.

Ugh. Which station would be a better option at that time to try to get a single seat?

Been taking that line for years. Getting a seat the whole was was nice but looking westward now. So who gets seats when commuting from Garden City (CPL, GC, NB, SW, Mineola, MA, NHP)? Which are the best of that bunch?
