With many antennas that went up (not without controversy) recently coverage seems better. Thinking of going from 12gb Verizon to unlimited Tmobile...did Tmobile pay off your contract (early termination fees) and remaining phone payments smoothly? Any frustrations you experienced? Any particular Tmobile store/salesperson in Nassau you recommend? Thanks in advance...
Switched this year from AT&T to TMobile. So far no issue and service been great. Their international coverage is amazing. Went to Europe and the Caribbean and had free data service (2G or 3G). 4 lines $160 total.
Had weak reception with Verizon and Sprint. Switched to T-Mobile and love it. Always seem to have good 4g service. I often use 4G at home instead of Wifi because it's faster than Optimum (but that's another story).
If you stay in urban areas you should have few problems with T-Mobile. Their coverage isn't as strong as Vz when you get into the rural areas around the country. But I've taken advantage of free international data, free international texting and .20 a minute international calls. I also like a bill that's really easy to understand.
We switched back in February. So far, all has been good. My wife and I don't use more than 2GB data so we get a $10 credit off the bill each month. Winds up being $140 for 4 lines. Not too bad. Service has been solid, no issues. I had AT&T service via Straight Talk but it was only 3G due to antiquated phone. I have been hearing a lot of folks complaining about Verizon service also.
No issues with VZW other than the price for limited data (used to have unlimited). I was looking at switching to T-mobile but realized my VZW bill isn't has high as I thought with my company discount (none for T-Mobile). 3 lines for $60 + $46 6GB shared data = $106+$10 taxes. T-Mobile is $140. Difference is of course unlimited data with the latter. Tempting, but along with likely slightly lesser coverage, not good enough to attempt the switch. Maybe if I ever lose the discount.
Curious though - are you guys getting 4G LTE speeds most everywhere including inside stores & offices? I heard some complaints in the past about that, at least locally.
