And yeah, the MS-13 problem actually did get worse in recent years, there were increased orders of violence from MS-13 leadership some time between 2015 and 2016.
IMHO part of this increase arose when Suffolk County did away with the joint federal gang task force. We lost extensive federal resources which could have continued focusing on the issue.

This is very true. It's apparent in Greek Life. Frats/Sors designated as the "Indian" Frat, "Christian" Frat, "Jewish" Frat, despite having a Greek name.
There is self-segregation throughout the US. It's not just the NYC metro area. Here, it may seem even more obvious because there isn't a lot of geographical space between ethnic enclaves because of the population density and high level of development. An exception might be the middle-class neighborhoods of the Washington DC area where the separation is based more on economic, rather than racial divisions and so some middle-class areas have more integration. Take a road trip across the US and you can observe self-segregation all over. It makes sense because houses of worship, ethnic clothing stores, ethnic food markets, are only going to make money or flourish if there is enough population to support it.

People do this with religion, too. Christian churches are rarely mixed-race. When left to their own devices, people prefer to be around their own kind.

Yes. What's irksome is that only white Christians are crucified for this mentality. Liberals defend the rights of any other group to feel this way with regards to their own universities, living communities, television networks, etc etc etc. But whites express any interest in the same thing and we're bigots

This is one of the dumbest posts I've seen on this site to date (even amongst the sea of other grumpy old couch-potato Trump Supporters whining about liberals on here).
What universities have kept whites out?
- When most people whine about this then they're alluding to HBCU's. Historically black colleges were formed out of necessity due to blacks being denied basic higher education. However, whites were rarely if ever denied entry; some HBCU's have actually been majority white for a while.
What television networks don't allow whites on the air?
- When most people whine about this then they're talking about BET (which is actually owned by whites). Even so, whites have still commonly been featured in shows on this channel. Turn to most white movies and blacks are extremely rare. At best, you'll just get a token black person that embodies racial stereotypes. Plus, BET formed out of necessity since blacks were portrayed horribly throughout American entertainment
Usually when minorities had to self-segregate; it was due to being forced into that and beibg denied basic services, housing or representation from the greater majority. "White Christians" were never in this position (on a large scale) within US history.
