There was a club (New Wave Music) in Levittown on Long Island. It was right past the Wantagh Pkwy. on Hempstead Tpk. If you were traveling east on Hempstead Tpk it was on the right hand side and then a little further down on the left was Uncle Sam's. It was a small club that was free standing. It is driving me nuts that I can't remember the name. Does anyone have any idea???
Spit was uncle's Sam's. It was on the left, not the right. Spit was for the rock crowd, uncle sams was for the teens, sin City was for the Guidos, ucatan liquor stand was for the college kids and GOD was for the hoods
Spit was in the same location & building as Uncle Sams. This person said the pace they were talking about was on the opposite side of the street. Boy do we miss Uncle Sams. Someone needs to bring that place back. Same name for the memories. There just might be a fortune to be made with that idea now.

the club was doing bad in 1995 and the owner hired someone to torch the place so he could collect the insurance. The club was burned down to the crowd and the owner was arrested for insurance fraud.
