You have to look out for copper coated aluminum as well. My condo built in 1973 has it. What I have researched is it can be treated as copper as long as the outside coating is not broken. Most Outlets are rated for copper and copper coated aluminum . Most people wouldn't even recognize copper coated aluminum unless they looked at a cross section of the wire.
Thanks everyone for the input about the Stony Brook Levitt homes. I’ve also talked to a few people in South Setauket who said they had electrical work done and they said no aluminum wiring was noted during the work etc.
