First off, I would like to thank the majority of the hard working people on long island for paying their taxes. Without them, I wouldn't be able to have the luxurious life I have.
My public sector pay is north of 200k and I barely do anything stressful with 9-5 hours. Where else can I get that kind of salary and live 15min away from home? Nowhere.
So all of you people who pay that property tax, thank you for funding my salary and the rest of us who need to get paid. I couldn't have done it without any of you and don't listen to any of those online keyboard warriors complaining about their taxes.
If we didn't have high taxes, my belly would be half the size, easily.

Love those big bellied retirees. They tend to croak faster and save the taxpayers some bucks!
Actually a very good cost saving measure.
Free donuts all day, every day for retired teachers, cops, fireman, and LIRR workers.
It will pay off handsomely in the long run.
