Between Grand and RVC is pretty nice.
The other side of Grand not so much.
Grand itself has been an eyesore for as long as I can remember. And that's been a few decades. Or so...

Grand has been crappy forever!

I guess the building owners can’t make enough money to renovate them, so they stay crappy?

I am so excited about moving from Valley Stream where prices are out of line for capes to Baldwin Harbor. Two weeks ago Baldwin was actually approved for a $10 million revitalization project which will improve grand ave, storm barriers, and open access to bay at the park. Baldwin is definitely on the come up where you can get a little more for your money at the same taxes other towns are charging for 1200 sq ft homes. The schools are also very decent. Just be careful purchasing in flood zone. Luckily I was able to find a property a few blocks in that is not in a flood zone. Cant wait for to make wonderful memories with my family in Baldwin.
