Posting for a friend who lives in Babylon. An out of the blue diagnosis of serious liver disease. Can anyone recommend someone on Long Island, preferably not too far from Babylon for my friend? Currently he is being seen by someone but needs a local doctor, not someone in NYC. He wants someone attached to a local hospital in case of complications.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Dr Disanti in West Islip is a Gastro Guy.
