Sorry for another LI property tax thread. However, I couldn’t help resist looking at property taxes on homes for sale in South Hampton. As I took a drive out east yesterday & then looked up homes/taxes for sale on realtor.com

Southampton, Directly from realtor.com How is this even possible?:

Listening price: Annual Property Taxes:
3.9 million $15,00
3.2 million $11,700
2.3 million Less than 6k
1.9 million $4,800
$900,000 $2,400

I also searched Westhampton & Bridgehampton. All with similar property taxes.

My sister owned a house out there for years, services are not what they are everywhere else, ie you have to take your trash to the dump, sometimes you're on a well, etc.

I guess the main thing is garbage pick up. $200-$300 +/- for a dumpster per month?

No news here. Taxes in hamptons have always been low. The school districts are tiny some of them only have 200-300 kids k-12. No kids no huge school budgets no insane tax bill.

They suck, I hate them and wish they would all leave. But they're not. They have all come here and devastated our community.
So, once again, I am moving to get away from cidiots. This time I'm going where they will never go.
