Has anyone heard of cases of swine flu on LI. If not, do you think it is just a matter of time until it gets here?

I have heard from my friend about a colleague getting it in Melville, not sure where he lives though.... My guess is there are more cases out there than reported in the media.

A couple of kids who had it at St. Francis live on Long Island, in Nassau County. SO yes, it has been diagnosed here on Long Island.

And the cases have supposedly been quite mild, so I would guess there are cases out there that haven't been included in the official tally.

Only 6 people out of thousands infected here in the US have died and almost all of those 6 had underlying conditions that contributed to their death. It's really not as big of a deal as the media is making it out to be. I mean some of them are making it sound like it's the end of the world.
