As a parent, it is daunting to drop my children off at 8 am and not see them again until 5 or 6 pm everyday. I am looking for a Daycare Learning Center for my Twin 18 month old boys in Oceanside. I'd like to begin them in the Oceanside pre-K program (that begins for 3 year olds) in the Oceanside school district.
If you know any centers that also provide transportation from the school to the center that would be helpful too. Any information and/or suggestions will be much appreicated as this is one of the hardest decisions that we need to make.
1. Loving & Learning (located on Lower Lincoln): I liked the teachers, didn't care much for the owners. Also, expensive (but what isn't?).
2. Oceanside JCC: pretty good. Lots of activities. Has a pool, gym, etc.. Overall, it has more to offer than Loving & Learning and price comparable. Not limited to people of the Jewish faith. Teachers are nice there.
Just another word about the JCC...they do offer transportation from the Oceanside Schools to their facility. That can be a deciding factor if your child attends Oceanside Schools and you need after school care.
Loving and Learning did such a good job with my nephew. The owner nad her daughter were great. My sister-in-law always comments on that place.
