What's there to do in Rockville Centre?
Would like to know the fun things to do in Rockville centre.

IMO, hands down the BEST LI town. Bars mostly and restaurants, but what more do ya really need. I recommend Cabo...amazing margaritas.

RVC has always had a reputation of being a great little downtown. I have to say I wasn't all that impressed when I first when there. It's nice, but it was a bit tired and stale. It was kind of tacky and some parts looked a bit run down.
I personally think Bayside (although not techically LI..it's close enough), Huntington Village, Babylon Village, and GC are a bit nicer.

I grew up in the area. RVC never did anything for me.
Not bad, but nothing great either. Parking sux.

Parking is a piece of cake there compare with other "bar" areas...ever try to get a parking spot in Long Beach or Nautical Mile on a Friday or Saturday night? At least in RVC, you can park at the train station and walk. There are always spots, just gotta pay the meter. |
