what happened to the sprinkler systems? were they shut off to save money?
things that make you go hmmmm...........
Not sure how that results in cost savings, but I doubt they had a sprinkler system...most schools on Long Island were built in the year of the flood. They're only halfway to code in most cases. They just installed fire doors in my kid's school last year!!
Isn't that a big leap to a conclusion. How do you save money by cutting off water to a fire sprinkler system? Isn't like you are using water if there is no fire to suppress. DUH
they said it on the news.
