For Italian...also try Gios in Miller Place on 25A.

Bella Italia (Echo Rd in MP near 25A) is also good but a little pricey IMO. They have a buy one dinner get one free promo on Wed though I believe.
I tried Gios twice for heroes and dinner. They are horrible!!! My wifes food had to go back. Olive Garden would have been a better choice and I hate their food.

Yikes sorry to hear that. We've had nothing but great food. Maybe old age is killing my taste buds...

It happens. I'm a major food guy even though by looking you'd never know. My wifes eggplant parm was badly undercooked. Before that I ordered chicken marsala and francaise heroes. The marsala should have been a little sweeter based on the wine and the francaise did not reflect and egg batter with white wine and lemon. They apparently cut corners. I used to like Mario's years ago especially during the 80's but they have been up and down over the years and recently have new owners and got rid of the early bird which was the biggest draw there. I still have to give it another shot but the prices have gone up a bit. Other good italian is mama lombardis (holbrook), lombardis on the sound(old pj country club), caruso's was very good, and carnival is usually good especially for chicken parm heroes, but last week they were not up to par. Usually for food especially specific dishes,I can point people in the right direction. Years in the Air Force let me taste food from all corners and luckily some of these places still ship me stuff when I request.

Red Sauce Long Island Italian. Yawn.

I like Saviano's in Bohemia the one time a year I have any interest in that stuff. The seafood pasta is great.
