Bowl 58 (Riverhead, Aquebogue, Jamesport: construction, contractors, property taxes)

Does anybody have any information on the bowling alley that is under construction and has been for quite some time, on county road 58 in Riverhead.

It is actually on Rte. 25, not Co. Rd. 58, and indeed it has been under construction for a long time. It was supposed to open 18 monthys ago. Fights with unions, contractors, ran out of money, etc., etc. Riverhead bailed it out in December, waiving property taxes and defering past due bills and planning requirements. Still facing lawsuits from contractors, but owner claimed in January that it would open later that month. He said the same thing in January 2009.
