Not really, especially on 27A. Hamlets imply centers of some sort with stores. There aren't any on the old highway. Just the smoke shops

Maybe elsewhere, but not in New York State.

Sunny, you must be a writer! You have a knack for description. I love the way you described the phone poles.

After all this, I ended up deleting the section where he's driving in the middle of the night from the chapter I was working on. But this description is helpful, because I will have to spend time on the landscape and scenery later on in the story.
