Most sumps are dry, thus they have zero impact on the mosquito population. If you see aquatic plants (Reeds) growing, chances are it's a wet sump.

No prob....I found a house I loved but it was next to a sump . I immediately thought GET HOME AND ASK CITY DATA PEOPLE All my questions I ever had has been answered....I am actually going to post a new one right now. Have a great one !!!
