I just checked wunderground for Pasadena and it predicts it will be over 100 degrees Tuesday - however Google Weather and Weather Channel make predictions much lower.

Also two of the local news channels were displaying the weather a few weeks ago and they were different by 5 degrees! But this might have to do with what part of LA they sampled.

I find WU to be a bit on the low side for the high temps. F'rinstance, today they called for a high of 94 when the actual high has been 99. For the most part, I trust WU.

The Weather Channel doesn't seem too accurate for California but the local national weather service\ NOAA has a pretty good track record. Most of the local television stations use the forecast by the national weather service.

I live in Pasadena and it it very hot today

Someone said to me the other day when we were discussing the weather, teach a kid to lie when he is three and he will grow up to be a meteorologist...

Yeah, that is what I was thinking too Nita, and your reply will stand for me.

I'll tell y'all what the maximum temperature was tomorrow. And I'll tell ya tomorrow evening. Just like Dallas!

Hot through Wednesday... That's about it. We're in late August, everyone; what do you expect?

I'm going to San Diego this weekend; it should be nice there!

They did it again today... they called for a high of 99 and it topped out at 105. I've learned to add 5 to their high temp forecasts.

I usually check Accuweather.com. They seem to be the most accurate. I agree with the comment about the Weather Channel usually being wrong.
