I would like to stay around Toluca Lake and was considering the Oakwood at Toluca Hills. Would my money be better spent elsewhere, if I am only staying for around 10 days?

the only other option i can think of are those extended stay hotels. I believe there are a few in the burbank area. will you have a rental car?

yes, I will have a rental car. Is the Oakwood relatively nice? I have heard that a lot of child actors/stage moms stay there. If I don't stay there, I will probably stay at a hotel. I would like to save money but not at the expense of safety/cleanliness. If you had to compare the Oakwood to a hotel chain, how would you rate it? On a scale of Motel 6 to Best Western to Ritz Carlton Thanks!

Thanks for your response, NickyWilliam! I would love to stay in the nicest hotel in LA, too! I'm just looking to save some money on lodging, so I can stay longer and afford to do more while I am there. I figure I probably will not be in my hotel room for very long, anyway. I also don't want to live in an unclean/unsafe living situation, either, so staying in a nice hotel is definitely worth it sometimes! Just trying to figure out if this trip is one of those sometimes...
