Hyde Park
1200 North June Street
Hollywood, CA 90028

Is this area "safe"?

Are there any complaints about this apartment.

The Hollywood apartment is IMO not in a safe area, though its borderline. A much bigger problem is the high level of late night traffic caused by the Arena Cafe nightclub. I think it runs 3-4 nights a week and is on that entire block of Santa Monica. The traffic and parking spills over to June Street. Also lots of drugs and transgender prostitutes in that area.

The mid Wilshire apartments....that area is urban ok. Still have to keep your wits about you and an eye out. The area to the east gets sketchy real fast around Lafayette Park and ghetto as hell more east than that. To the west, it becomes Korea town is ok. I wouldn't really have a problem living there, but understand that it ain't the suburbs.
