I live in OC and it's so boring and lackluster. For some reason I am SO drawn to Sunset Blvd; it's so exciting. I will cruise the strip and the strip will be so packed with people dressed to go clubbing, lots of commotion, restaurants, clubs, possible celebs sighting. It's so glamorous; I feel like I belong there! lol

Does anyone else find Sunset very exciting, glamorous and mesmerizing?

I'm from OC and partied on Sunset on NYE 1999/2000. Here's something to keep in mind: You want something to remain "exciting, glamorous and mesmerizing," then visit it, don't live it.

It has ever been thus so.

I know grown women from O.C. who still talk about hanging around outside Elvis' house in Benedict Canyon in the 60's.

It's a fine place to live! There are little side streets, on the north side of Sunset, that have great houses and apartments nestled into the hills - all just a block or two off the strip. Sure at night, it's all about the clubs and the nightlife, but during the day there are restaurants and other businesses. It's a nice neighborhood!

Sunset is a big street, and predominately residential from the beach to Doheny Drive. from Doheny till its terminus near downtown it's definitely a happening place.

I live just a block off Sunset myself and love it. It has its problems, and is often hell to drive through. but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Um, yeah ......

I used to live at the corner of Sunset and La Cienega. It was a real hoot. Noise all night long. Car alarms going off at all hours of the day and night. The House of Blues right behind my place with all the noise. Oh yeah, it was real glamorous!

Sunset and La Cienega is prime real estate. I'm right by there. And everything you could possibly want is walking or short driving distance. You didn't appreciate it enough!

No, I like peace and serenity ..... and lots of LAND!

I'm not a teeny-bopper anymore, so I'm not into the club scene.
