I find it funny that this guy wasn't good enough to buy the Red Sox but he is good enough to buy the Dodgers. The Dodgers are the most important franchise in US sporting history when it comes to social impact, but the league treats it like they're in Pittsburgh.

for hubby and I it goes so deep: we got married the year they moved to Los Angeles. Hubby worked for a small newspaper (sports editor) and we got tickets to any game we wanted. The following year we would take the bus to the collisium to watch them. Our oldest child could have been born at a World Series game in 1959. (well not really, but I did go into labor during the series) We watch Kolfax, DRysdale and Padres, as well as Murry Wills become stars. We moved to San Francisco in the mid 60s when the Dodgers were still a powerhouse and supported them even if our neighbors were Giant fans. What is happening now makes me want to cry.
