I was trying to find that house and I did a search and I found this thread where someone asked where that house was:

I did not find the answer there and the thread was also close. Don't know if people really care but I took the time to find it. Here is what I did:

Ok I had to register to answer this question. The only intersection you see in the movie is the one where Vanilla ice is taking the little kid out for a ride on the bike. The intersection is West Whitcomb Ave and North Vista Bonita Ave in Glendora CA. Once I located that I used the other piece of information I got from the movie which was the number for Kathy's house which you see a few times in the movie. The number is 546. Now the hard part was finding that house. I looked for houses numbered 546 in the surrounding area. After a few minutes I found it. Cathy's house is: 546 North Wabash Avenue, Glendora, California

Now according to the movie the crazy house is only right up the block. On the 13th minute of the movie (if you're watching it on Netflix) when Vanilla ice is dancing in front of the house and Cathy and her BF drive by in the white Corvette you see them drive by a house and there is a drive way which has a red car. That house is right across the street from where vanilla ice was standing. I used that house you see Cathy drive in front of to locate the crazy house since it's right across the street.

The crazy house is on the corner of East Virginia Ave and North Wabash. Unfortunately the house does not look anything like it did in the movie with all the globes outside or anything like that. But you can tall it is it if you look closely. It's right on the corner and you can make out the roof in the outside shots of the house in the movie. Here is a google maps link to it: Moderator cut: link removed

what a momentous day in the history of the los angeles city-data forum.

first the exact address of the now-razed executive room from billy joel's "piano man" song is uncovered, and now kat's house from "cool as ice" has been found as well?

outstanding.

great detective work, evil_mind. i wonder if the OP of that other thread ever found the house during his trip to LA.

now i can go to glendora and have a candlelight vigil outside of the "cool as ice" house while pouring some 40s on the curb!

Default The other 'Cool as Ice" home (girlfriends?)

Hello,

I don't remember whose home it was in the movie but I got Vanilla's pic/autograph at this home during the filming of the blockbuster 'Cool As Ice":

164 N. Sunset place 91016 = Beautiful home one street over from where I grew up. My buddy and I were film gawking and Mr. Rob Van Winkle's gave us his autograph head shot.

Aw yeah.

We are aware that even Rob Van Winkle is thoroughly embarrassed about the whole "Vanilla Ice" thing, yes? He has expressly apologized for such, on camera.
