I don't find weather in the 70sF cool-I actually think it is warm. But there have been some really warm days...
Anyways, I do think it has not been as warm as it could have been, but August just barely started, and I am sure it will progressively get warmer. September and October are also really hot and I have a feeling they will be this year.

I'll be the odd one out. I think it's actually been a warmer June/July this year. But comfortably so. The June/July gloom seems to have burned off a lot earlier this year. Last year I recall going nuts because of the clouds and strong breeze in the evenings, along the coast.

It's definitely been cooler this summer compared to last (this is only my second summer in California), but we are getting into the hot season right now so don't mess it up just yet.
