Thanks for all of your help. My aunt is actully and health and wellness coach, so today she sent me a meal plan of the types of foods I should be eating. I fly to LA tomorrow morning and I'm planning to go around to the stores to see which stores have what I would need.

When I had my moving-to-LA day, I was nervous and happy at the same time. Good luck out there!

I walk plenty and have no problem doing it.
You know you can go to the store more than once a month. You don't have to buy everything in one trip.

And now that as of 1/1/14 plastic bags are no longer being used in stores in LA County and you have to pay 10 cents for paper ones, many people go to the store with their backpack or cloth bags and shop.

You said you wanted exercise, a walk or bike ride to the store a few times a week is great exercise.

I'm in my apartment right now and it's much better than I expected. My room is much bigger than I originally thought. Plus my closet is huge and my roommate is incredibly nice. I'm directly across from Stoner Park and the area is nice and quiet. I'm a couple blocks from Santa Monica Blvd and I'm withing walking distance to everything. I got some interviews lined up for this week so I'm looking forward to those.

I'm going to Walmart later to finish up some shopping for my room. I'm nervous because I'm so far from home and the job situation is still unsettled. But I'm hoping these security companies can give me something fairly quickly.
