Give us an idea of your price range and I can give you a list of places that you can research. I am noticing that the Milinnials of all races, religion, etc., are buying homes in various pockets in the heart of Los Angeles, to avoind long commutes. In Los Angeles the major problem will be the school districts. I chise to remain in the heart of Los Angeles rather than moving to the suburbs. The downside is that we had to pay for private school for three children, and our commute was nil. Those tuition costs could have gone towards a mortgage in a better school district.

Don't....seriously!

NYC native, here 1.5 years.

Rent is the same as NYC, housing sucks here. #1 worst traffic in the country #10 in the world. Horrible drivers, phony ass people.
