If I was you I would use Google to assist in your apartment search. For example, put the following search string into Google:

"apartments in LA from $1200 to $1500"

You'd be surprise at the results.

I just looked and I'm amazed! I didn't see anything remotely as nice as this on craigslist. I'm so grateful for you pointing out this website..thank you! This is why I love Citydata...
