Sounds like a Black Lives Matter troll.

Out here in L.A, dudes love chicks and chicks love dudes. Sometimes chicks love chicks and dudes love dudes. And where it goes from there is limitless. Beauty is attraction, not color.

OP, us Blacks are a minority out here, so you're bound to see us with people of other ethnicities. You're right, however, a lot of Black men out here aren't with Black women, but there are also a lot who are as well.

There really isn't many black people in LA in comparison to the total population so it's not surprising. And also, who cares?

Now of course we're not like the south the west coast is more diverse than Alabama different culture but, Sounds like from where u went you went to the areas in the Westside with tourists and all, the richer areas, these areas are more likely to see interracial marriages, now if you went to the black neighborhoods like Inglewood, View Park, North Long Beach or out in San Bernardino or Rancho Cucamonga then you would see more black people together, this is coming from a black man with children married to a black woman who lives in LA
Hope u enjoyed your trip though! Y'all come back now ya hear?

True that, while we never faced lynching by the sheriff if caught looking at a white woman last century we most likely grew up in defacto segregation not knowing any white person except a school teacher, and Black teachers were prioritized to South LA by LAUSD policy until 1978. Make that unless you were bused to a location were white flight from LAUSD didn't take hold. While Latinos whose numbers have gone up and Asians whose relative numbers have gone down were around, America in a way still sees race with the filter of representatives of slaves and slave holders. And with Dr Kings message taking hold with more recent generations there is more mixture with local Latinos then there was with with the Japanese Americans which used to be around South LA. Or the more recent Asian immigrants whose first generation are not likely to get involved with Black folk unless it was with a GI before they immigrated.

So if you did get out be it military service or school, unless it was Howard, Southern, or Alabama A&M you didn't enter your marriage years like an immigrant who would only marry a woman from back home in the proper village and proper religious sect.
