When I went to school in Malibu for elementary and high school it was mostly white. There were where a few latinos and kids bused in from Santa Monica , but it wasn't diverse. This was in early 90's and early 2000's but I don't think the demographics have changed that much.

L.A. mostly has higher income white people (Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Coffee Bean shoppers). There aren't a lot of lower income white people (Walmart, Dollar Tree, Wienerschnitzel, etc.). You can just look for upmarket areas to find them.

I've seen some cases where white people from out of town move to L.A. and try to live somewhere with more white people, only to find out that they don't fit in because their income is too low. They end up struggling, needing roomates, and driving a car that's falling apart.

I bet the test scores are in the toilet. And the free or reduced lunch % is greater than 50.

Statistically makes sense since there are only about 6 colors on the road nowadays.

One of my late relatives graduated from high school in Oakland, CA in the early 1940s and he had only two black classmates.

A lot moved to Idaho. The locals weren`t too happy about that since the prices of houses went up considerably
