We should probably class it up and meet at Denny's or IHOP.

I don't know if I'll be able to go to Denny's again . Last time I went we got served a burger with mold on the bun. That's pretty bad . I don't think I've seen that in any other restaurant.

Even the chains vary in quality .

West LA to DTLA in 20 minutes? I don't think so. Maybe in the 70's or 80's you could get to DTLA from West LA in that short of time, but those days are long gone. I've lived 13 miles from DTLA since the late 80's and on a the best of days it takes me 30 to 40 minutes. Now a days, if I need to get their fast, I use the subway. From the Universal Station to Metro Center DTLA it takes 35 minutes tops. And there's no parking hassles.

Wasn't that great? And we thought the traffic was bad back then? We had no idea what we were in for...

Yep. Makes me concerned we have no idea what we're in for now, in the future.... the city is only growing, and Wilshire aint getting any wider.
