I'm about to graduate college, and the company I interned at is giving me the opportunity to work at their location in north Redondo Beach.

Is there anywhere nearby where I can live so that I would be close to work and the beach (for surfing) that isn't >$1500 a month? I'd also want opportunity to meet people and go out to bars and stuff, since I don't know anyone there.

Alternatively, the company also has a couple locations in San Deigo (one next to Montgomery Gibbs Executive Airport and one ~17 miles east of Del Mar).

Here is a map of Redondo Beach - https://www.google.com/maps/place/Re...4d-118.3884078

You arent likely to find an under $1500 month apt there. You may find it in areas east and north/east of there like Gardena, Hawthorne, Lennox, but those areas arent what anyone would call "safe" or "good".

Another option might be to be someone's roommate in Redondo or Hermosa Beach. A lot of recent college grads do that in the area.

Most new grads have roommates. I'm sure if you share an apartment with someone you could find something.

I think you might need to go the roommate route if you're wanting to be anywhere remotely near the beach or bar scene...
