The Brentwood riots in light of OJ's confession on national television last night have been postponed due to rain. I don't condone any rioting -- I'm just repeating what I heard through the grapevine. Stay safe everybody.

The reaction to the verdict in the O.J. Simpson murder trial in 1995 showed just how much race played a part in the entire case. While many black people rejoiced in Simpson’s acquittal, most whites were stunned by the verdict

Well it isn't everything but this country has that history of people and their offspring could be owned by others because of their race. And even in that photo of college students reacting to the Simpson acquittal they are of the age that their parents could have been prosecuted if they had been married to someone that many states considered another race.

For many it is not history book knowledge of say the crusades but actual life experience of Jim Crow and the lessor forms faced by other groups.

Who made the OJ murder trial a race issue?

In 1995 O.J. verdict, the 'system' finally got what it deserved - Wave Newspapers
sad as it is, you are right. I will add however, I still don't think he did it on his own, I think there was a second person involved.

Blacks enslaved other blacks. African kings captured and enslaved Africans of other tribes.

Whites merely came to Africa and said, "Oh, you enslave people? Can we buy some too?"

Two Big Lies:

1. Whites enslaved blacks. False! Blacks enslaved blacks.

2. American blacks are "descended from kings and queens." False! African kings and queens, and their princes and princesses, stayed in Africa. It was the lower ranks of African society -- those unwanted by the kings and queens -- who were sold to the New World.American blacks should turn their anger on Africa's kings and queens. Instead, many revere Africa's kings and queens.

How is that false? Both are actually true...

Just like some whites (Persians) were enslaved by Arabians. Everybody has been slaves before. Blacks the most.
