Torrance Del Amo Mall use to be safe. I grew up just down the street however I will not go over there anymore. I might go with my husband but certainly not alone. They've had issues over there and the kids are out of control. There was gang shooting a year or so ago by BJ's Restaurant at Del Amo Mall. They finally closed down the Gable House Bowl which had been in business for many years. There was a shooting inside. Times have changed and not for the good sadly.

The thefts took place between Dec. 14, 2023 to Jan. 7, 2024, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Retailers that were targeted include Home Depot, Lowe’s, Target, and Walmart.

Three of the suspects were allegedly responsible for working together to steal the merchandise while a fourth suspect ran a “fence” operation in Littlerock
