As soon as Weiss started getting ultra negative, it really turned me off. I can't believe they kept airing that stupid ad about Trutanich's firm representing "a guy who shot sea lions illegally from his boat."

I never figured out the difference between the 2 since their ads were equally hard-hitting. Both are Democrats\union-friendly. Has there been an issue with the city attorneys in the past? Who was the city attorney during OJay trial?

The difference was in their criticisms of each other. Weiss kept harping on trutanich that his clients were criminals. Well Gee Duh!l He was a criminal defense attorney. In this country criminals are entitled to defend themselves in court.
Weiss is an idiot. He lost because a lot of people could see that he is an idiot.

Weiss was very much in the pockets of Rupert Murdoch and Rick Caruso, and no doubt other "big money" interests as well. He's also a close buddy of Tony, fwiw...
