i have been leaning towards living in san diego, but i want to spend some time in LA. what area would you recommend?

- Im 24yrs old
- I want somewhere fun and easy to meet people
- I work from home, so have no reason to drive during rush hour
- Budget is $6k/month
- I want somewhere upscale

For that kind of money you should definitely look into renting a house up in the Hollywood Hills (maybe up in the Bird streets), so you're just a stones throw away from hipster clubs/lounges/eateries/bars.

SOuth Bay, LA County. Summer is around the corner and LA Beaches are so much fun. You have to visit Manhattan, Hermosa, Redondo Piers/Beaches
